NOTE - Vanguard Set (all schools) is regular classic gear w/ a semi-bright hue. Dragoon's Set (all schools) is the second-brightest gear (crafted) w/ a golden hue. DS Dragoon's Set (universal) is the brightest gear set w/ a golden hue on par with Balance's individual sets. DS Vanguard's Set (universal) is regular classic gear w/ a dull grey color (as referenced above).

Basically 4 sets of Catacombs gear in general the Dragoon gear has a universal & school-specific set (2) which are craftable only. The Vanguard gear (+ the DS version) has a universal & school-specific set (2) which are attainable by the bosses listed above & available for crafting via Zasha EmberForge. The gear needs an upgrade; the hp is decent but it's lacking serious resist/damage/accuracy + power pip percentage. I've reached out to W101 via Twitter addressing the issue -- makes no sense that the hats/robes have insufficient resist + damage while the previous Darkmoor gear excelled in that regard. Since all schools have universal resist at this point it would be wise to correlate w/ your class for extra benefits in stats if you choose to utilize this gear. Universal Dragoon/Dragonspyre sets have lower stats compared to the mains but could be utilized for pve/pvp. * @BlazeLifeHammer covers the Catacombs gear on his channel.
